The Edusei Foundation has once again extended a philanthropic hand to the Kumasi Children’s home as part of their commitment to the underprivileged. Currently in Ghana for a private visit Dr. Kwame Bawuah-Edusei and his wife Mrs. Evangeline Bawuah- Edusei made some time out of their hectic schedules to visit the Kumasi Children’s home to donate items worth several thousands of Ghana cedis.

As part of Edusei foundation quest to seek the positive development of children and based on their sustainability adage; the Bawuah-Edusei family through the Edusei Foundation have continuously made donations to orphanages across the country as their widow’s mite to help the disadvantaged children to develop to their full potential. This is a commitment the founders have vowed to keep without fail

The foundation does not accept donations but the founders have committed a portion of their business earnings to the goal of the foundation: which is to seek the positive development of children and empowerment of women.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Children’s home Mrs. Mabel Amponsah the proprietor of the Children’s home was full of praise for the Edusei Foundation for their sustainability and positive effect on the Children's Home and was so happy to meet Dr. and Mrs. Bawuah-Edusei after five years of continuous giving.

Recently the Edusei foundation built a clinic with a ward for the sick children and in addition built a flat for the nurse in charge. The onsite accommodation for the Nurse in charge is to make it easy for her to be reached and also encourage her to extend her working hours and take care of the sick children.

Dr. Kwame Bawuah-Edusei a medical practitioner by profession said “ The Foundation had been continuously donating to the needy for the past five years and there is no stopping. We will visit all projects we have completed and assist in the maintenance to ensure their sustainability'

Through his observation as a child in the third world there are a whole lot of challenges if you are an orphan, and it it's even worse if you have medical challenges.

He went on to say “We are committed to sustainable and durable projects hence we do not only want to donate with temporary effects but we build for long lasting positive effect”

Concurrently the Edusei Foundation organizes Youth workshops in the diaspora and Ghana where they impact attitudinal change for the youth to be proactive and positive thinkers. The Foundation engages the services of highly trained professionals in various endeavors to counsel the youth on career choices, emerging technologies and healthy living. The cumulative effect is to have a long standing effect on productive altitude which helps make the youth successful.
